Newly released 911 calls captured the frantic pleas for help after witnesses saw a man being stabbed to death at a gas station in Miramar.

Jerry Saint Vil, 26, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the incident that happened Wednesday night at the Mobil gas station in the 16000 block of Miramar Parkway, Miramar Police officials said.
Police said an altercation between the two men escalated, leading to the stabbing.
The 911 calls then came flooding in.
“He is on the flood, bleeding to death!” a caller said.
“Do you know the gas station near Target?” a caller said. “You know the gas station near Target? We just saw a guy attack some guy. He just jumped on him. I don’t know what he did to him. I just see him lying on the floor.”
The victim, identified as Teofilo Vargas, was airlifted to a trauma center and later died, police said.

Days after the stabbing, police said they found Saint Vil during a search of the 2100 block of Acapulco Drive.
Police have not said what his motive was behind the deadly attack.
But Saint Vil was no stranger to law enforcement. Records show that he was arrested back in May for trespassing and burglary.
NBC6 on Saturday spoke to the victim’s family, who said Tofilo was a wonderful father and great friend. The family is now trying to get his body back to the Dominican Republic.

Workers at the gas station said Tofilo worked at the car wash.
Police are still investigating what led up to the altercation.
