The videos, obtained by NBC6 on Thursday, show Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies raiding the property in the 14200 block of Southwest 192nd Avenue on May 16, 2025.

One video shows a pair of suspects in handcuffs as their pants pockets are searched, and another shows multiple men sitting on the side of a dirt road in handcuffs as a rooster is heard crowing in the background.

A third video shows deputies with weapons drawn taking a man into custody in a field.

The raid led to the arrest of 42 people on charges of fighting or baiting animals and resisting arrest without violence, authorities said.

Arrest reports said deputies had responded to the property after someone reported a fight involving “knives and machetes.”

Deputies said the suspects started to flee the scene on foot and in their vehicles.

When one suspect was stopped by deputies, they were found with rooster spurs, a natural bony structure on their legs, which are associated with cockfighting.

Multiple roosters were roaming the property and 72 birds were eventually found, authorities said. In addition, $39,000 in cash was seized, the reports said.
