Video captured the aftermath of what appeared to be a boat crash near Bay Harbor Islands on Friday night.

The boat with extensive damage to its bow sat along the seawall in Bay Harbor Islands after the apparent crash.
Bay Harbor Islands Police secured the vessel before Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission investigators arrived. A tugboat later pulled the damaged boat from the scene.
FWC officials are now trying to determine what happened.
NBC6 spoke on Saturday spoke to Joseph Levy, who recorded the video showing what appeared to be a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue boat alongside another damaged boat in the water.
“Last night, I looked out, and I see a helicopter circling very low; that usually doesn’t happen late at night,” Levy said. “And then I look out, and I see the fire rescue boat with a boat in front of it. And it turns out that the boat in front of it was half in the water.”

NBC6 cameras later captured FWC officers surrounding the second damaged boat before it was towed away.
“Most of the time, what I see is boats beached because low tide happens and they can’t move out,” Levy said. “But you hardly ever see collisions.”
Investigators eventually took one of the boats to the FWC office from the Haulover Marina, where officers continued examining the damage.
fWC has not yet released information on what led up to the apparent crash, or released any details on how many people were on board, or if anyone was injured.
