Police on Friday identified the suspect they’re searching for after a man was stabbed to death at a Miramar gas station earlier this week.

Jerry Saint Vil, 26, is wanted for murder in connection with the incident that happened Wednesday night at the Mobil gas station in the 16000 block of Miramar Parkway, Miramar Police officials said.

Police said an altercation between the two men escalated, leading to the stabbing.
The victim, identified as Teofilo Vargas, was airlifted to a trauma center and later died, police said.

Broward County Sheriff’s Office records show Vil was arrested for burglary and trespassing back in May.
Investigators have not said what led up to the altercation. No gas station employees were involved.
