NBC6 cameras captured Brown as he arrived at the courthouse to pick up his ankle monitor.

Brown’s attorney, Mark Eiglarsh, said the judge had granted Brown a furlough while his girlfriend was expecting and wanted him back in Miami after she gave birth.

Since Brown was on house arrest he was allowed to switch his county monitor to a private company so officials can still track his whereabouts, pending trial.

“We’re here because the court asked him to be here in person because she had given him a furlough so that he could care for his family and his pregnant girlfriend,” Eiglarsh said. “And now that she’s given birth, he’s back here in Miami and she just wanted to see him and now have him back on monitoring here with Miami’s house arrest unit.”

Brown is accused of opening fire during an altercation following a celebrity boxing event in Miami in May 2025. Prosecutors allege Brown fired two shots at another man, with one of the bullets grazing the victim’s neck.

Newly released police body camera video shows the moments former NFL star Antonio Brown was handcuffed and detained after he allegedly fired gunshots following a celebrity boxing match in Miami last year.

He has pleaded not guilty and maintains that he acted in self-defense.

During Friday’s court appearance, Brown livestreamed while in the hallway.

In the livestream, Brown can be heard talking about why he was in court, saying, “Change my GPS, but I think we’re at the wrong place,” while speaking to his followers.

The judge ordered Brown to continue complying with the conditions of his release, including electronic monitoring through Miami-Dade’s house arrest unit.

A “Stand Your Ground” hearing is scheduled for later this month, where Brown’s attorneys will argue that he is immune from prosecution because they claim he acted in lawful self-defense.
