The video shows a white vehicle ramming into a gate at the Aliro apartment complex near Northeast 135th Street on Biscayne Boulevard, damaging several other cars in the process.
Right after the crash, one person starts running around before a second comes out, and the two take off on foot, the footage shows.
One woman said she was sitting on her balcony with her baby when she heard and saw what happened, realizing that her own car was also hit.

She said people called 911, and officers tracked down the two young men who fled the crash. Authorities have not confirmed those details.
Another witness, Chris Vinas, said he saw “a white Maserati… take the stop sign, try to make a left turn, no brakes whatsoever.”
“I saw two guys go ahead and jump out. They ran this way, and then they went back, I guess to get something in the car,” he said. “The owner of the Maserati came by and said that he let them take pictures of the car… I guess they sat inside… next thing you see, they took off of the apartment complex, and they took the car.”
