Multiple people were injured in a major crash at a northwest Miami-Dade intersection on Friday, officials said.

The crash happened in the area of Northwest 36th Street and Northwest 87th Avenue.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said crews responded to the crash that involved multiple vehicles and a possible entrapment.

There were a total of six patients, including four who were treated and released at the scene, one who was airlifted to a local hospital and one who was taken by ground.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed at least half a dozen vehicles including two pickup trucks were involved in the crash.
