A man was rushed to the hospital after a near-drowning at Hallandale Beach on Friday morning, officials said.

Hallandale Beach Police officials said officers responded to the 1800 block of S. Ocean Drive for a report of a possible drowning.
Fire rescue crews also responded and took the man to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue officials said the man was given CPR throughout the transport, but his exact condition was unknown.
