Jammiah Broomfield, 28, was arrested back in April on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, resisting an officer without violence and driving with a license suspended or revoked, Broward jail records showed.
According to an arrest report, detectives had spotted a black Tesla driven by Broomfield that had fled from detectives on April 2.
Detectives got behind the vehicle but Broomfield started speeding and driving recklessly to evade police before she stopped and fled on foot, the report said.
In the body camera footage released on Tuesday, a detective was seen running after Broomfield, and she was placed on the ground and handcuffed.

Broomfield then told officers that she would tell them anything they wanted if they released her.
“If I go to jail with a new charge, I’m not getting out,” she said in the video.
Broomfield was eventually taken into custody.
Inside the Tesla was a baggie containing a “clear crystal like substance” that tested positive for methamphetamine with a total weight of 29.5 grams, the report said.
When asked about it, Broomfield said she picked the meth up for her boyfriend, the report said.
Broomfield also had $1,010 in cash that was “consistent with street-level narcotics sales,” the report said.
