Coach Mauricio Pochettino’s roster includes 13 returning players from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and 13 players set to make their World Cup debuts in the U.S. this summer. For the first time in the modern era, all 26 players on the USMNT roster play for a club in the top flight of their country based on the upcoming season.

When it comes to club teams, the USMNT roster is spread out across North America and Europe. There are eight MLS players, five English Premier League players, three in the German Bundesliga, three in France’s Ligue 1, two in the Dutch Eredivisie, two in Italy’s Serie A, one in Spain’s LaLiga, one in Mexico’s Liga MX and one in the Scottish Premiership.

The roster includes two pairs of club teammates. Defender Sergiño Dest and striker Ricardo Pepi play together for PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands, while Joe Scally and attacking midfielder Gio Reyna are teammates at Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany.
