Three women were detained after a man and woman were injured in a stabbing incident in northwest Miami-Dade early Wednesday, authorities said.

Deputies responded to a report of a fight and possible person stabbed shortly before 1:50 a.m. in the area of Northwest 15th Avenue and Northwest 103rd Street, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office officials said.
When they arrived the deputies found a man with stab wounds to his lower extremities and a woman with possible lacerations to her upper extremities, officials said.

The man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition, while the female victim was treated at the scene and released.

During their investigation, deputies detained three women, officials said.
The identities of those involved haven’t been released.
