Two people on a motorcycle were killed on Saturday after crashing into a tractor-trailer in Miramar, police said.

According to Miramar Police, traffic on U.S. 27 slowed down when the motorcycle couldn’t stop in time and crashed into the back of the tractor-trailer.
Police said the driver and the passenger on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities have not been released.
Southbound lanes on U.S. 27 have been shut down at Pines Boulevard as the investigation into the fatal crash continues.
