The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game has started to take shape.
The WNBA on Thursday announced the 10 starters for this month’s All-Star Game in Chicago. The Indiana Fever lead the way with three starters in guards Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, along with center Aliyah Boston.

The Dallas Wings and WNBA-best Minnesota Lynx also have multiple All-Star starters. Dallas is sending guard Paige Bueckers and forward Jessica Shepard, while the Lynx will be represented by forward Natasha Howard and rookie sensation guard Olivia Miles. It’s the first All-Star selection for both Miles and Shepard.
Rounding out the starters are Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson, New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart and Golden State Valkyries forward Gabby Williams. Wilson and Stewart both are now eight-time All-Stars. Williams, meanwhile, becomes the Valkyries’ first-ever All-Star starter.
The 10 starters were determined by a vote that included fans, current WNBA players and a media panel. The fans accounted for 50% of the vote, with players and media making up 25% apiece. The four guards and six front court players with the highest weighted vote score earned starting nods.
Bueckers racked up the highest score among guards, followed by Miles, Clark and Mitchell. Clark, notably, finished 11th in the player vote, but was second in the fan vote and third in the media vote.
Wilson had the top score in the front court, followed by Stewart, Shepard, Boston, Williams and Howard.
Among the notable omissions from the starting group are Atlanta Dream guards Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard, Dream forward Angel Reese, Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum, Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey and Washington Mystics guard Sonia Citron.

Reese and Rhyne Howard were the next-closest among front court players and guards, respectively, to landing a starting spot. The Dream are the only team currently in the top seven of the WNBA standings who don’t have an All-Star starter representative.
