A heat advisory is in effect on Monday for Broward and Miami-Dade counties as feels-like temperatures are expected to climb into the triple digits.

The advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the National Weather Service said.

Look for a sizzling afternoon with highs in the low- to mid-90s, with heat index values between 103 and 107 degrees.

What about the rain?

Storms will fire up again Monday with most areas likely impacted. We could see some flooding in spots, so keep you head on a swivel.

For the first FIFA World Cup game at Miami Stadium, scheduled for 5:30 p.m., it looks like most of the action should be out before kickoff. If some raindrops remain, it should be short-lived. 

Storms chances will likely be highest on Monday, with a slight dip going forward. The heat remains all week.
