Two construction workers were hospitalized after they were injured while working at a site in downtown Miami on Monday, officials said.

The incident happened at the site on North Miami Avenue near 6th Street.
Miami Fire Rescue officials said the workers were injured by a beam and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

One had a leg injury and the other a rib injury. Both were said to be in stable condition.
