A woman who went to the movies in Coconut Grove got into an altercation with a suspect who wasn’t happy that she and her friends were laughing loudly, police said.

According to Miami Police, the incident happened on Monday at the Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas.
Police said that the victim was with a group of friends at the theater, and when there was a funny moment in the movie, she and her friends started laughing loudly, which apparently offended the suspect.

The suspect then turned around and started insulting the victim and her friends, and they responded with their own insults.
At one point during the altercation, police said, the suspect got up from his seat, walked up to the victim, smacked the food that was on her table, and she was hit with hot sauce.

The victim then retaliated by pouring her drink on the suspect.
No arrests were made.
