Andres Gonzalez, 73, was taken into custody with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Arrest and Extradition Unit of Puerto Rico, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office officials said.

Officials didn’t say what charges he faces but said he’s awaiting extradition.

The arrest is connected to the June 19 deaths of 58-year-old Esther Liontos and 61-year-old Roger Arredondo Gonzalez, the sheriff’s office said.
