A man who was riding an electric scooter in Miami was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after he was struck by a vehicle, fire rescue officials said.

According to Miami Fire Rescue, crews arrived at Northwest 17th Avenue and 28th Street, where they found the man who was struck.

The 31-year-old has multiple injuries, and he was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
