A death investigation involving a Doral Police officer was underway at a home in southwest Miami-Dade on Wednesday, officials said.

Deputies responded to the home in the area of Southwest 157th Avenue and 160th Street shortly after 6:20 a.m. for a report of an unresponsive male, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office officials said.
The department’s Homicide Bureau took over the investigation, but there was no foul play suspected, officials said.

A Miami Police spokesperson said the death investigation involves a Doral officer.
A large procession including an ambulance and dozens of police motorcycles and vehicles was seen leaving the house and traveling on the Florida’s Turnpike to the Dolphin Expressway.
