Yuliedy Diaz, 48, was arrested Wednesday on 10 counts of dealing in stolen property along with one count each of grand theft and violating the pawnbroking act, an arrest report said.
According to the report, Diaz had worked as a cleaning lady for the victim in Palmetto Bay for the previous 12 years, but over the past few years the victim started to notice valuable items missing, including jewelry, Cartier and Rolex watches, necklaces, gold bracelets, earrings and other items with a total value over $36,400.
Investigators found online records that showed Diaz had pawned 73 items between July of 2018 and June of 2025, the report said. At least 32 of them were confirmed to belong to the victim.
The pawned items included a Rolex, a Cartier Balloon watch, silver earrings, gold rings and other jewelry.
