Maximiliano Buitrago, 51, was arrested Thursday on charges including solicitation to commit human trafficking and unlawful use of a two-way communication device, Boynton Beach Police officials said.
Police said their investigation began on July 9 when detectives with the department’s Human Exploitation Unit were contacted by Buitrago, who was responding to a Craigslist ad for summer babysitting services.
“Are you trying to make cash any other way? What else can you do?” Buitrago messaged the undercover detectives, police said.
Buitrago repeatedly acknowledged the “girl” was 14 and discussed “making movies” and whether she would produce foot fetish content, telling her he would pay her well to play with her feet and touch her, police said.
He later offered her $200 for three hours and told her the videos would only be viewed by clients overseas, cops said.

On Thursday, police arranged a meet-up for the “teen” and Buitrago and when he arrived at a park, he was taken into custody, officials said.
Buitrago later gave a full confession, admitting he intended to produce foot fetish videos featuring the child and sell them on a website, police said.
When officers searched his car, they found cards advertising to “make money on TikTok with pics and short videos” along with a phone number.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone who has come across a similar card — or discovered their child communicating with the number 561-825-0081 — to contact police at 561-742-6158.
