Police have identified a young man who was killed in a shooting in a Coral Springs neighborhood last week.

The shooting happened early Thursday at the Coral Park East apartment complex along the 2500 block of Riverside Drive, near Royal Palm Boulevard and south of West Sample Road.
The victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
Coral Springs Police on Monday identified the victim as 18-year-old Khameran Jackson, of Dania Beach.

Video from the scene showed the body covered in the parking lot and what appeared to be a gun in a nearby swimming pool.
The shooting prompted a SWAT response and led to the closure of a nearby school for the day.
Officials said no arrests have been made but the homicide investigation was ongoing.
