According to authorities, last Monday, the child found her parents, 31-year-old Jimsley Estime and 30-year-old Ketsy Alexis, dead in their kitchen.
The child then called a family member, who then called 911.
“We need people here,” the caller said. “It looks like they shot each other. I don’t know. … She tells us she saw her dad laying on the floor.”

An operator asked the family member where the weapon was.
“Where was the pistol when you saw it?” the operator said.
“It was in the pile of blood where they were laying,” the caller said.
Police said that Estime previously threatened Alexis after she tried to leave him in September 2024. The two were involved in divorce proceedings in April.
“They were already going through a divorce. I don’t know what happened,” the caller said.
