Authorities said at around 5:38 p.m., deputies arrived at the area of 3316 Northwest 38th Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

The sheriff’s office said the gunfire stemmed from a dispute between the victim, 41-year-old Raul Aballe, and another man. During the argument, authorities said the suspect pulled out a gun, shot Aballe and ran off.

Surveillance video exclusively obtained by NBC6 captured what sounds like a single gunshot.

Deputies found Aballe at the scene and rushed him to the hospital, but he did not survive.

On Tuesday, a woman who identified herself as Aballe’s friend told NBC6 that she was there during the argument and wanted justice.

“Please, we need to find this killer, and the gun violence needs to stop,” she said.

Early Wednesday, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies had arrested 49-year-old William Serrano Domenech in the case.

Serrano Domenech faces charges of second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Aballe’s friend described him as being like a brother to her. She said before the deadly gunfire, she jumped in between the two to try to break up the argument.
