A man shot in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday has died, police said, as the search for the shooter continues.

According to Fort Lauderdale Police, officers arrived at the 800 block of Northwest 10th Terrace after receiving reports of gunfire.
At the scene, officers found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the Broward Health Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but did not survive, authorities said on Thursday.

He was identified as 52-year-old Calvin Johnson.
Police said that the incident appeared to involve two people.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is active.
