The incident happened in a residential neighborhood near HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
Fire officials say a storm knocked down a tree limb, which then fell onto a power line. The damaged line ignited a small fire on the home’s roof.
The fire department responded quickly and brought the fire under control before it spread. A truck parked outside the home advertised doggy daycare and dog grooming services, and rescuers soon realized there were numerous dogs inside.

Firefighters and neighbors worked together to carry dog crates out of the house and move them to a neighboring home.
Crews were also seen walking several dogs to safety next door.
Fortunately, no one was inside the house when the fire started. No injuries were reported, and all of the dogs were unharmed.
