Social media posts are flooding in after news of the tragic death of popular TikToker ItGirlBri. The influencer was shot and killed over the July 4th holiday weekend.

ItGirlBri, whose real name was Brianna Johnson, was also known on social media as @dreamdoll_bri. The 21-year-old amassed over 380,000 followers on TikTok alone and also gained popularity within Instagram.
While leaving an Airbnb party early July 5, Johnson and two others were shot at on Sunshine Boulevard in Miramar, police confirmed.
At 5:30 a.m., someone open fired on them while they were driving a lime green Lamborghini. Miramar police believe that the suspect was following them in a BMW. All three victims were transported to the hospital in critical condition. Police confirmed Johnson later died from her injuries.
The influencer was a rising star on the social media platform. She had also just started dabbling into a music career with her viral feature in rap song “Bend Ova” that was released in March of 2026 by friend and influencer @sadiityrackz.

Johnson remained connected with her TikTok followers, consistently posting videos and lives. Her last TikTok video was posted five days before her sudden death. She was known for posting lifestyle content featuring her friends, family and mostly her sister.
Johnson seemed to have ties with the late TikToker Girllalala — posting with the caption “Forever Girlalala.” In one video, Johnson posed next to a cardboard cutout of the late influencer and friend. Girlalala died in Nov. 2025 after being shot and killed by her boyfriend.
On her social media pages, Johnson would advertise events that she and other influencers headlined at nightclubs. She would also promote community-based gatherings. On June 8, she posted about a party she hosted on June 11.
Detectives have not said if the shooting was targeted. The conditions of the other two victims in the incident have not been released. Miramar police are still investigating.
