A street takeover in Gladeview on Sunday sent three people to the hospital, and a suspected driver remains on the loose, deputies said.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the street takeover happened at the intersection of Northwest 25th Street and 76th Avenue.
When deputies arrived, along with Doral Police, they treated three people who were injured.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue then took the three to the hospital.
Their conditions or identities were not released.
During their investigation, deputies determined that the suspect drove a black pickup truck that had front-end damage and fled the area.
No arrests have been made as an investigation remains active.
In 2024, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a law that increased the penalties for drag racing, street takeovers, stunt driving and other dangerous activities and formally defined the term “coordinated street takeover.”
