An investigation is underway in Miramar on Sunday after three people in a car were shot, police said.

According to Miramar Police, officers arrived at the area of 2700 Sunshine Boulevard after receiving reports of a shooting.
Police said that two men and one woman were in a car heading westbound on Sunshine Boulevard when they were shot at.
After the shots were fired, the car crashed near the 2600 block of Sunshine Boulevard.

The three were taken to the hospital by fire rescue crews, and their conditions remain unknown.
“This is no way to wake up on a Sunday morning; it’s a chaotic scene,” said Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss. Hearing multiple shots in the middle of the night or in the wee hours of the morning it’s disturbing. At this point, we don’t believe there is a bigger picture with regards to the neighborhood being in danger, but certainly, they targeted this particular car for some reason
