Eight people were arrested on Friday by the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and Miami Police during the Argentina vs. Cape Verde FIFA World Cup match at Miami Stadium, authorities said.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, five of the six people were arrested on felony charges of interfering with a sporting event.
Investigators said 23-year-old Delfina Degui, of Sweetwater, admitted she used someone else’s credentials to enter the stadium before the gates opened.
Authorities said 41-year-old Jefferson Honorio Da Silva is accused of attempting to enter with fake tickets. After being denied entry, investigators said he returned and opened a gate to access a restricted area before security detained him and turned him over to deputies.

Deputies said 21-year-old Miami Beach resident Juan Capote Garcia ran past security without a ticket and was arrested as he exited a bathroom.
Authorities also arrested Nicolas Pino and Julian Daud, identified as fans visiting from New York. Investigators said the pair made it through three layers of security before they were stopped.
The sixth person, 35-year-old Nicolas Rieck, is charged with two misdemeanor offenses. Deputies said he was removed from the stadium for disorderly behavior, then resisted deputies and was taken into custody.
