Nia Natalie Robinson, 27, was arrested Sunday on a charge of possession on an electronic weapon on school property, Broward jail records showed.

According to an arrest report, the alleged incident happened back on April 17 at Liberty Elementary School, where Robinson was working as a teacher.

Robinson was in possession of a “compact handheld stun gun,” the report said.

She allegedly told school staff she carries one for protection but forgot she had it on school grounds, the report said.

The report said Robinson was having a conversation with two other employees when she mentioned her “Taser.”

“The defendant said she did not use it, only showed it to the witnesses and she was very apologetic,” the report said.

The stun gun was confiscated by a school resource officer.

Robinson, of Coconut Creek, was booked into jail and expected to appear in bond court on Monday.
