A man accused of firing shots outside a McDonald’s in Hallandale Beach that left a father and a daughter injured was arrested on Monday, police said.

Ralph N-Kosi Blue III, 18, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, Broward County Jail records showed.
According to Hallandale Beach Police, the shooting happened on Saturday, and it appeared that a suspect was waiting at the McDonald’s to ambush someone.
Police said that when that person arrived, gunfire was exchanged.
The father and his daughter were inside their car while they waited for their food, while the mother was inside when the shots were fired.

NBC6 cameras captured a bullet hole on the back window of the driver’s side of the SUV they were sitting in.
The two were taken to the a nearby hospital in stable condition, and the child needs surgery.
NBC6 spoke to several witnesses.
“I heard somebody screaming outside,” Oscar Odero said.
“It was just two gunshots, all I saw was the police swarm the place and the suspect took off running,” Carlos said.

Police said that a McDonald’s employee was possibly involved in the shooting.
It’s unclear if Blue was the McDonald’s employee.
NBC6 has reached out to authorities for more information on Blue’s arrest.
