The United States Coast Guard on Friday offloaded more than $63 million worth of cocaine and marijuana at Port Everglades.

According to the USCG, the drugs were interdicted during three days in the international waters of the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
The following dates show the amount that was seized.
June 11: Crews boarded a vessel and seized about 4,000 pounds of marijuana.
June 12: Crews boarded two vessels and seized about 7,660 pounds of cocaine.
June 13: Crews recovered a bale in the Eastern Pacific Ocean that had about 60 pounds of cocaine.

“The success of these interdictions reflects the strength of our partnerships and the persistence of our crews,” said Cmdr. Jorell Webb, commanding officer of Coast Guard Cutter Bear, in a statement. “Our success required the integration of thoughtful training, carefully planned logistics, and joint coordination. We are very proud of our efforts to prevent illicit networks from threatening our security.”
