A Miami officer and another driver were taken to the hospital after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 95 on Sunday, authorities said.

According to Miami Police, the crash happened at around 2:16 a.m. when the officer was traveling on the northbound express lanes of I-95 when they were stuck by a driver who was going southbound on those lanes.
The officer and the driver were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police said the officer is expected to be OK, but the driver is in critical condition.
