Neisha Puentes, 31, was charged with cocaine/possession: crack pipe with cocaine residue, child neglect with no great bodily harm, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use.
According to authorities, an officer arrived at 1320 NW 12th Street after receiving reports of a person who was sleeping in their vehicle.
An arrest report said the officer spotted a woman inside the vehicle, knocked on the window, and she woke up. The woman told the officer that she fell asleep due to exhaustion.
The officer then called fire rescue to assist the woman, but as she was getting out of the car and started to care for her child, they saw a crack pipe that had cocaine residue and several baggies that appeared to have cocaine on the front passenger-side floorboard.
