Rogerio Miranda De Souza, 50, was arrested Wednesday on an indecent exposure charge, Miami-Dade jail records showed.

Miranda De Souza had been arrested on a similar charge back on May 20 in a separate incident.

That arrest following an incident that happened on May 15 when the alleged victim said she was followed by a grey Tesla after leaving a gym in Brickell, an arrest report said.

The woman said she saw the Tesla’s driver, later identified as Miranda De Souza, had exposed himself and was engaging in a lewd act while looking directly at her while stopped at an intersection in South Miami, police said.

Miranda De Souza was identified as the suspect and arrested, before he was booked into jail and later released on bond.

The new arrest is related to another incident that happened on May 11, when a victim said she was driving in the area of the 5700 block of South Dixie Highway in South Miami when she saw a grey Tesla driving next to her extremely close, an arrest report said.

When she looked, she saw the man driving was exposing and touching himself, the report said.

She said she tried to distance herself from the vehicle but the driver started following her so she called police and Pinecrest officers responded but by then she had lost sight of the Tesla, the report said.

Pinecrest Police told her she’d have to report the incident to South Miami Police since it happened in their jurisdiction, but she didn’t report it at that time, the report said.

After learning he had been arrested for committing the same crime, she decided to come forward and report the incident, the report said.

Miranda De Souza turned himself in Wednesday, the report said. He appeared before a judge on Thursday who set his bond at $25,000 along with house arrest with a GPS monitor, though he’s allowed to go to and from work.

“I find that this was, obviously, the last arrest form that I read was not an isolated incident, I do find that this defendant is showing a pattern of behavior and is potentially a danger to the community,” the judge said.

Police said last month that while investigating the case, detectives learned a neighboring law enforcement agency was investigating the same subject under similar circumstances.

Detectives believe there may be more victims who have yet to come forward and are asking anyone with information to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
