Surveillance video appears to show a person running from a crash that left several people injured in West Little River on Tuesday.

The crash happened along Northwest 84th Street and Northwest 18th Avenue, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
Five people were hurt, including two people who were “lightly trapped in their vehicle,” fire rescue said. All of them were taken to the hospital.

A witness said the collision was the result of a police chase, but authorities have not confirmed that information.
“Well, the only thing I know is what I was told that it was a police chase and it hit this car right here and that’s basically all I know,” the witness said. “High speed chase and hit an innocent person on his way home.”
