A child was airlifted to the hospital after a reported fall at a North Miami Beach apartment building Thursday morning, officials said.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said crews responded to the building at 2150 Northeast 169th Street for reports of a medical call involving reports of a long fall.
North Miami Beach Police said when officers responded, the child was found alert and conscious.

The child was airlifted to a local trauma center for treatment, fire rescue officials said.
A parent was at the scene and the incident is under investigation but no foul play was suspected at this time, police said.
