The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. on June 30 outside the store at 7900 W. McNab Road.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, 62-year-old Bart Diguglielmo of Lauderhill and the woman had been involved in a dispute over a parking space before she opened fire.
“Apparently there’s a man shot in the parking lot, can you send somebody over?” a man says in one of the 911 calls released on Wednesday. “We need an ambulance and maybe police.”
The call was one of several made by bystanders who witnessed the gunfire.
“The lady pulled out a weapon, looks like she shot somebody, and it’s in the Walmart shopping center,” another man told a dispatcher. “She’s still got the gun out, okay, she just shot somebody.”
Another man appeared to have witnessed the entire encounter.
“Somebody just got shot at Walmart!” he told a dispatcher. “He’s on the floor, he’s on the floor right now.”

He said the woman was talking on the phone after the shooting, and the dispatcher asked why the shooter opened fire.
“They were fighting over a parking spot,” he says.
“It was a female that shot the male?” the dispatcher asks.
“Yes, correct, correct,” he responds.
“Do you know where the gun is?” the dispatcher asks.
“It’s on top of her car,” he says.
A witness captured the shooting on a cell phone video and cameras from a nearby Tesla showed the fatal incident unfold.
Deputies responded and found Diguglielmo suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The woman stayed at the scene, cooperated with detectives and said the shooting was self-defense, officials said.
An investigation was ongoing and the case will be presented to the Broward State Attorney’s Office to determine whether the woman will face criminal charges, officials said.
