Police in Miami Shores are trying to identify a man who they said showed up at a stranger’s home carrying a gun.<\/p>\n

The incident happened around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday when the man showed up at the home carrying what appeared to be a long-barrel rifle or shotgun, police said.<\/p>\n

He rang the doorbell and waited for about 15 seconds before walking away.<\/p>\n

The resident said they didn’t recognize the man and had never seen him before.<\/p>\n

Police are asking anyone with information about his identity to contact them at 305-759-2468.<\/p>\n
