A West Palm Beach man was arrested after allegedly making a threat on Instagram to “shoot up” houses and a courthouse, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Jesus Thomas Max Horne, 36, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of written threats to kill or do bodily injury, Palm Beach County jail records showed.<\/p>\n

According to an arrest affidavit, the investigation began after the FBI received notice from Meta about a threat made by an Instagram user indicating an intent to “shoot up houses and the Palm Beach County Courthouse.”<\/p>\n

The threat was a video post in which the suspect, wearing a face covering with a “skull-like” design and dark latex gloves, was driving in a car as a text read “Forgive me lord, but I am going to shoot up couple of houses and the courthouse today!!! Idgaf,” the affidavit said.<\/p>\n

Using the IP address and account details, as well as clues from the video, authorities identified the Instagram user as Horne, the affidavit said.<\/p>\n
