A Colombian man accused of stabbing his stepfather to death at a home in northeast Miami-Dade will be deported, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said.<\/p>\n

According to a Tuesday X post from ICE, 18-year-old Juan Gonzalez’s visa expired in November 2018, and an immigration detainer has been lodged.<\/p>\n

18-year-old Colombian illegal alien Juan Andres Gonzalez was arrested in Florida June 20 by the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office and charged with homicide after allegedly stabbing his stepfather to death with a\ud83d\udd2a knife, a \ud83d\udde1\ufe0fsword and an\ud83e\ude93 ax. <\/p>\n

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded at around 3:09 a.m. on June 20 to Northeast 148th Street and Northeast 15th Avenue for a reported domestic battery with injuries.<\/p>\n

When deputies arrived, they found the victim unresponsive and suffering from stab wounds.<\/p>\n

According to an arrest report, Gonzalez’s stepfather “fell asleep while sitting on the dining room table” and shortly after, the suspect “produced multiple sharp objects, struck the victim multiple times and fatally wounded him.”<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s office said surveillance video captured Gonzalez adjusting the angle of the cameras inside the home. When they searched the residence, investigators reportedly found a knife, a sword and an axe, all stained with blood.<\/p>\n

Gonzalez faces a first-degree murder charge and was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.<\/p>\n
