A crash involving a Brightline train and a vehicle in West Palm Beach on Sunday killed two people, police said.

According to West Palm Beach Police, the crash happened at around 3:15 p.m. along the 600 block of Roseland Drive.
Police said that a vehicle was going westbound on Roseland Drive when it crossed onto the tracks and struck the train, which was heading northbound.
After hitting the train, two people inside the vehicle were ejected and died at the scene.

Their identities were not released.
Police said that at the time of the crash, the railroad crossing gate arms were down and warning lights and sounds were activated.
As the investigation into the crash continues, police said alcohol is a suspected factor.
