An investigation is underway in Miami on Monday after a possible intruder was fatally dead, police said.

According to Miami Police, at around 5 a.m., officers arrived at 4606 NW 5th Ave. after receiving reports of an incident involving someone who was believed to have been an intruder.

At the scene, the person was pronounced dead by fire rescue crews.
Their identity was not released.
Police said one person was detained and questioned.
