“Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein, accused of secretly recording her ex-husband, could have her criminal charges dropped, according to court records.

Hochstein, 43, turned herself in to Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in April on a charge of interception of communications. She later accepted a pretrial diversion program, records show.

Her former boyfriend, Jody Daniel Glidden—who was also charged in the case—has likewise accepted a pretrial diversion program, according to records.

“Pretrial diversion (PTD) is an alternative to prosecution offered by the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. It provides offenders with non-violent priors a viable alternative to a criminal conviction. The program serves criminal defendants by allowing them to make significant changes in their lives so they can avoid further involvement with the criminal justice system. Offenders enter the program voluntarily, and if they complete all conditions and remain arrest-free during participation, the State Attorney’s Office will drop the charges,” according to the office.

Secret Recordings

Court records filed in Miami-Dade on March 19 allege Hochstein and Glidden “did unlawfully and intentionally intercept, endeavor to intercept, or procure another person to intercept or endeavor to intercept” oral statements made by Lenny Hochstein and others he spoke with. Lenny is Lisa’s ex-husband.

Florida is an “all-parties” consent state, making it illegal to record someone without their knowledge during a private conversation.

The charge stems from an alleged incident in 2023, when Lenny—a prominent plastic surgeon known as the “Boob God” of Miami—accused his ex-wife and Glidden of placing a listening device under his car. At the time, the couple were in the midst of a contentious divorce.

According to an arrest warrant, Lenny told investigators he found a digital audio recorder in his Mercedes after allowing Lisa to borrow the vehicle. He reported it to the Miami Beach Police Department, which began investigating.

Lenny also hired a private investigator who allegedly found recordings of Lisa and Glidden on the device, the warrant states.

Police reviewed the device and found 98 recordings, including one in which Lisa and Glidden are heard speaking before there is a “distinct sound of a device, such as the hidden recorder, being moved into place,” the warrant says.

In other recordings, Lenny is heard speaking with someone about Lisa and his children, with patients, and with a “woman friend,” according to the warrant.

Records later obtained from Amazon show Glidden purchased two recording devices of the same make and model in December 2022, the warrant says.

“Your affiant has reason to believe, and does believe, that Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden, working together, installed the hidden recording device without the victim’s knowledge or consent and secretly recorded conversations between the victim and numerous individuals, including patients,” the warrant states.

Lisa and Lenny were married for 13 years and share two children—Logan, 10, and Elle, 6. Lenny appeared alongside Lisa on the Bravo reality show, where they documented their struggles with infertility and allegations of infidelity. He filed for divorce in May 2022; it was finalized in 2024.

Lisa and Glidden began dating in 2023 and split earlier this year.

What’s Next?

Records show both Lisa Hochstein and Glidden have accepted the pretrial diversion program. It is unclear how long the program will last or what specific conditions they must meet.

In a statement, Glidden and Hochstein’s attorneys said their charges will be dismissed by mid-June.

“We have reached an agreement with prosecutors in this matter.  All charges against Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden will be dismissed mid June without any admission of guilt or conviction,” attorneys Jayne Weintraub and Howard Srebnick said in a statement Tuesday.
