Veterinarians told NBC6 that they only give her a one in four chance to live as police investigate who is responsible.
The 6-year-old bulldog is severely emaciated, dehydrated and having seizures.
According to i Heart Animal Rescue, the dog was found in a box behind a Walgreens along Broward Boulevard, and now, the medical staff at VEG ER for Pets on Federal Highway are doing all they can to save her.
“I’m sick to my stomach, I’m in knots right now, my hands are shaking. It’s just horrible,” said Cindy Mucciaccio, with i Heart Animal Rescue.

Mucciaccio named the dog Miracle because it’s already a miracle that she’s survived this long.
The dog is eating and is showing signs of improvement, but she’s also having setbacks and has suffered more than one seizure on Monday.
“Once you go into starving mode that’s been going on for 72+ hours, your body wastes away, takes away the muscles to use for energy,” said Dr. Enio Sanmarti, medical director at VEG ER for Pets.
Thousands of dollars have already been raised to pay for Miracle’s care.
