A 19-year-old was arrested after police say he inappropriately grabbed a teenage girl in a Walmart parking lot in Pembroke Pines.

Fabian Valentino Galvez was arrested Thursday after several tips led to his arrest. He faces a charge of battery, according to Pembroke Pines Police.
The incident happened at around 1:20 p.m. on March 15, outside the Walmart on Southwest 184th Avenue.
According to police, Galvez followed the 17-year-old victim inside the Walmart, “watching her every move.”

He then waited for her at the front of the business while she checked out and then followed her outside, according to an arrest report.
Galvez then ran up behind the girl and grabbed her butt before running away and hiding between cars, police said. He then snuck into his SUV and then drove away.
Pembroke Pines Police put out a flyer on Monday asking the public to help identify the suspect.

A judge set Galvez’s bond to $1,000.
