Crews are working to repair a water main break in Miami Beach on Friday.

The city said the break was identified at around 3 a.m.

Video of the scene at Dade Boulevard and Prairie Avenue shows crews working on a broken pipe in a muddy, sunken roadway.

“Public Works crews are actively making repairs, which requires excavating a section of the roadway,” the city said. “There is no sinkhole.”

At least one lane was closed to traffic due to the ongoing work at the intersection, which is near the Miami Beach Convention Center.

All repairs are expected to be completed by the end of the day, city officials said.
