Christopher Perez-Ponton, 33, was arrested Tuesday on two counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated battery with a firearm, Miami-Dade jail records showed.
According to arrest warrants, one of the robberies happened on Aug. 2, 2025, as the victim was leaving E11even nightclub.
The victim said he was walking near North Miami Avenue and Northwest 10th Street to his parked vehicle when three suspects approached, and two of them grabbed his arms and pinned him against a fence.
One suspect, later identified as Christopher Perez Ponton, and another suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Edgar Amado Perez Ponton, pressed guns against the victim and demanded he hand over his Rolex watch and phone, the warrants said.
The victim initially refused but when the suspects racked their guns, the victim complied.
A third suspect, 32-year-old Manuel Emilio Linarez Julia, was standing nearby acting as lookout and forcibly removed the victim’s Rolex while one of the other suspects snatched his phone from his hands, the warrants said.
The suspects fled and the victim returned to the club to notify police.
Detectives obtained surveillance footage and were later able to identify Edgar Perez Ponton and Linarez Julia as two of the suspects, and determined they were also suspects in a similar robbery that happened Aug. 4, 2025.
In that robbery, the victim and a witness were walking to Over Under at 151 East Flagler Street when a grey vehicle pulled up and someone inside asked for directions to Elleven.
The victim and witness provided directions and kept walking but a short time later, they head footsteps and saw the males from the vehicle running after them, the warrants said.

The victim, who was hospitalized, said Christopher Perez Ponton pointed a gun at his head before there was a physical struggle and the gunman shot him in the ankle, the warrants said.
The witness said he heard one suspect say “I have a gun” but the witness kept walking away and a short time later the witness heard a gunshot, the warrant said.
As the suspects fled, Christopher Perez Ponton grabbed the victim’s phone, the warrants said.
Surveillance video obtained by investigators captured an Alfa Romeo SUV near the scene that was registered to Edgar Perez Ponton, and Linarez Julia’s phone was determined to be in the area of both robberies, the warrants said.
Investigators later found text messages that showed images of Linarez Julia and Christopher Perez Ponton together and a screenshot of an Aug. 1, 2025 flight to Miami for Christopher Perez Ponton, the warrants said.
In addition, Christopher Perez Ponton physically matched the suspect seen in the surveillance footage from one of the robberies, the warrants said.
Edgar Perez Ponton and Linarez Julia were arrested on Sept. 8, 2025, and remained behind bars without bond on Wednesday, records show.
Christopher Perez Ponton appeared before a judge on Wednesday and was ordered held without bond.
