A pickup truck slammed through a home in Lauderhill early Wednesday, knocking down an interior wall and leaving behind a gaping hole.

It happened in the 1100 block of Northwest 43rd Terrace at around 1:30 a.m., police said.
Video shows the black Chevrolet with a shattered windshield and front-end damage. As it’s towed away, its front bumper and at least one headlight fall from the vehicle.

The home was empty at the time of the crash and no injuries were reported, authorities said.
Police determined that the driver was impaired, and they were taken into custody for DUI. Their name was not immediately released.
